St Kilda Storytelling

These two charmers are Michaela McGuire and Ronnie Scott. They are the first guests to appear at the storytelling night Josephine Rowe and I are launching at the Dog’s Bar in St Kilda. If you would like to see them rant and/or rave then come along tomorrow night (Thursday 18th) to the Dog’s Bar. There’s only room for 40-50 people and the doors are locked at 8pm sharp, so don’t be late. It’s an intimate little venue so be prepared to witness much draping of long legs over the big comfy chair we have. $10 entry includes a glass of fancy wine.

Storytelling will be on every Thursday at 8pm, and upcoming guests include Lisa Dempster, Kalinda Ashton, Rhys Tate, Paddy O’Reilly, Lorelei Vashti, Tony Birch, Angela Meyer, George Dunford, Karl Smith, Sophie Cunningham, Paul Mitchell, Chloe Jackson-Willmott, Sean M Whelan, Anna Krien and loads more – just about everyone you can think of really.

We also have a short but super open mic section, where 3 daring people can each tell us a five-minute tale. If you want to take the plunge, become a fan of the Facebook page and send us a message. If you’re awesome and we don’t have to wrestle the mic from you because you’ve decided to tell your life story, we’ll book you in as a fully-fledged feature later down the track and you’ll have 20-30 minutes to regale us with your tale of laughter or woe.
